Since I was a kid, I really enjoyed running. I remember running around the field when I was in junior high, just to run. When I went to the beach with my parents, I took off running barefoot. In the early 80’s, I enlisted in the U.S. Army; they didn’t give you the option to run or not. You ran. Period.

Day 6 (and final day) of Sergio Machado’s 33 Mile Challenge is done! 33 miles in 6 consecutive days. Learning from yesterday’s scorching 7 mile run, I waited until a bit after 7 PM to start my run. As you can see by the pic of my Garmin, it was past dusk when I finished. That was actually a good thing; I picked up my pace a little because I didn’t have a flashlight or any sort of reflective clothing.
